Zoe Scott: Help me create my debut EP!

Kia Ora! My name's Zoe Scott, I'm an indie/folk artist from Geraldine in the South Island of Aotearoa, New Zealand.

After spending the majority of my formative years of writing, performing, touring and dismissing the importance of recording my art; I've finally gotten to the point of wanting to release my music into the world! (took you long enough Zo 😏)

I've been based in Ubud, Bali for the past couple of months, self-funding the recording of my debut release called the Homecoming EP at Soma Sound Studios and Taman Bermain Nosstress respectively. Now to progress further I'm needing some extra support from my community! 

All funds raised from this Boosted campaign will go towards the hiring of session musicians, mixing, mastering, manufacturing and release costs. So I can ultimately come back home and tour Aotearoa after its release!

The Concept: The Homecoming EP is a selection of 5 tracks I've written over the past five years that truly encapsulates my journey into womanhood. It deals with themes of love, abuse, shame and forging a home within yourself, your family and your community.

My stretch goal of 10k would go towards creating visuals to accompany 2 tracks off the EP and further help with the PR and marketing in NZ leading up to and post-release.
