WE DID IT!!

My Boosted NZ campaign has passed the 100% mark! I have been so overwhelmed and encouraged by the support of my community over this campaign. THANK YOU to everyone who donated, shared and supported from afar! You're kindness and generosity is getting me one step closer to releasing the Homecoming EP!

The campaign is still running for 12 more days! Anything raised on top of the 100% will go towards funding a music video to accompany a track off the EP!

To the BEST musical big brother/collaborator Zach Evans! Where do I even staaaaart!

Zach and I met when mutual friends mentioned that we needed to make music together We started jamming in my hometown Geraldine, gigged for a minute in Auckland and then rode the waves of life and said farewell for awhile. Only recently have we found ourselves in the same place, sharing and writing music once again.

Zach is one of those people that gifts his talents and kindness to the world generously. I’m deeply grateful to have had my music and life graced by this human!

Zooming around the Ha Giang Loop on motorbikes, devouring ice cream at Mother () and constantly putting our D’s on the T’s (censored for obvious reasons) are some of the memories I hold dearest.

You are the best Zachary Bo Backery!

I really can't thank you enough for the overwhelming support of this new project! As a lil thank you I wanted to share a snippet of a demo for my song 'Homecoming'.

'Homecoming' is the title track off the EP and encapsulates the feeling I want to distil in this project. It's about reconnecting with the inner child you've neglected for years. Allowing that child to play once again.

After spending the majority of my formative years of writing, performing, touring and dismissing the importance of recording my art; I've finally gotten to the point of wanting to release my music into the world! (took you long enough Zo )

All funds raised from this Boosted campaign will go towards the hiring of session musicians, mixing, mastering, manufacturing and release costs. So I can ultimately come back home and tour Aotearoa after its release!
