What’s a Laureate?
Since 2000, the Arts Foundation Te Tumu Toi Laureate awards have celebrated New Zealand’s greatest artists across the disciplines. Every year, The Arts Foundation recognise up to ten exceptional artists with a $30,000 award, and share their story with New Zealand. An Arts Foundation Laureate is an artist that is outstanding in their field, and is having impact on their community or practise, joining a Laureate whānau of 113 household names.
Our alumni of awarded artists and Kotahi members (our Arts Foundation giving collective) are invited on us! If you've ever thought about giving to The Arts Foundation – now is the time. Check out how you can be part of a movement backing the arts here.
If you have any questions reach out to Todd on rsvp@thearts.co.nz.
