Your Turn

This is a passion project and is the start of something bigger. It is a 10 minute short film that will pave the way for a feature film. It will provide the premise of the film and showcase the amazing local talent in Wellington. 

This funding will support with the making of this film, the cast, and the crew. It will provide the opportunity to projects worked on by emerging filmmakers and artists.

This team is full of independent creatives that share a passion for the arts. 

Leading this project is our writer and director Lana Dwyer. With a lifelong interest in films and storytelling, she is aiming to bring one of her many original stories to life. 

Lana is joining forces with a team made up of artists and aspiring filmmakers that all come from different backgrounds and expertise.

We are aiming to raise $4K to cover productions costs to bring this story to life. This will cover:

Bandersnatch Films was created to provide a supportive environment for artists and creatives to showcase their skills. Everyone involved has the desire to curate and share truly original ideas. 

Your Turn is the first of many projects to come. This story blends fantasy and reality to explore the theme of change. There are many things in this world you can't control that can change your life, good or bad, and you have to learn how to accept or even welcome these changes. 

This project serves as a proof of concept, as we believe the world needs more unique and original stories, and we aim to expand this into a feature film. 

As this project has a team full of incredible artists, this film will provide a platform for them to share their work. Every member has their own skills and ambitions that not only does the New Zealand film community need to see, but also a worldwide audience. This is truly a passion and collaborative project from all independent creatives that want to contribute to the film industry.
