'Whispers' by Bema Films

ABOUT OUR PROJECT - WHISPERS

Emily, a grieving widow and mother is forced to confront the passing of her husband. Struggling with the overwhelming grief she is haunted by ghostly apparitions, chilling nightmares and mysterious whispers causing her to lose her grasp between reality and fantasy. Her ordeal intensifies when she encounters a stalker edge of a forest entrance, a moment that begins the unravelling of the source of her terror.

- This is a thriller short series born from passion, dedication, and the desire to offer a platform for aspiring talents. A large drive for this film is to give budding new creatives from all backgrounds the opportunity to work with film professionals on an actual film set.

ABOUT BEMA

Our project is working towards continuing to fund the WHISPERS production and post production process that is created by Bema Films. Bema Films is a non profit organised based in Ōtautahi (Christchurch) that gives our upcoming creatives the opportunity to work on various short films and upskill themselves through acting, directing & camera work!

The Bema Films team is a group of arts individuals that has worked on various short films and is calling to all our creatives across ōtautahi to come on this journey to create more films going forward. 

Everyone involved in this promising project are collaborating on a voluntary basis , without any financial compensation. They believe wholeheartedly in this vision. So far, we have been hiring a studio to hold auditions for our talented community, inviting them to experience, a professional environment of being on set and share their talent in front of a camera, making everyone feel special like a superstar. 

Our goal is to foster a more welcoming, united, and accepting community through the power of storytelling.

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT

Making a short series film is an ambitious task, and we really need all the support we can get.

With your donations and support we will be able to finance the production and post-production of "WHISPERS".

• Boosted 10% Fee 

If we succeed to this target will also allow us to open more doors and opportunities to our community.

Boosted is all or nothing so, if we don't hit our target we don't recieve any of the funds!
