In the heart of Queenstown there stands Yonder, a hub of live music, art and comedy. From up and coming local artist’s to international performers, our doors are open to all sort’s of genre’s. Providing the best experience for the creator’s and the community in our little slice of paradise . We want to see Queenstown’s culture continue to evolve by hosting more deserving bands, artist and energetic crowds in a atmosphere that feels right. Yonder may be young, but we have a fire in our belly.
We now need your help to keep it blazing. This boosted campaign is about providing a foundation for us to move forward and with your support keep the night life alive. We’re calling on everyone to come to the party, however they can. From promotors to punters, musos to techies, We need you. Run by a dedicated committee of music lovers - including Reb Fountain, Matthew Crawley (Golden Dawn / Strange News), Lucy Macrae & Tom Anderson (Whammy Bar), Rohan Evans (The Wine Cellar) and Reuben Bonner (Banished Music) - the #SAVEOURVENUES team seek to unite in support of Aotearoa's live music venues and music scene. #SAVEOURVENUES aim is to help generate support for crucial, original, small live music venues right across New Zealand, in cities and towns. And they are calling on everyone to help to raise awareness and funds, and trigger a national response strategy in support of a thriving musical culture in New Zealand.
