Waters Fall

'Waters Fall' is a fantasy short film that explores themes of nature, power, survival and love through the eyes of a strong female protagonist. Produced by Navi Collaborative in collaboration with Melopy Films, 'Waters Fall' is set to be filmed on location in KareKare over a 3 to 4 day shoot in the summer of 2021 and will feature a soundtrack composed and curated by The Dead Travellers.

The filming of our ten minute film will require the talent and time of over a dozen Kiwi creatives.

By donating to our campaign, you will allow us to cover some production costs, including:

• film gear
• location permits
• costume
• prop and set purchases

Most importantly to us, this Boosted campaign will help pay the stipends of the artists who are working with us to bring Waters Fall to your screens.

We acknowledge the kind of year 2020 has been for so many of our friends, family, and supporters; across the board those in the arts world with us have deeply felt the challenges of COVID and the consequences of necessary lockdowns. However, 2020 has also shwon many of us the power of humans working as a team towards a common goal.

So, we are asking you to be a part of our team and to be a part of making this short film. Help us create content that is deep, engaging, professional, and showcases the power and strength of women on and off the screen.

To help us reach our goal of $5000, no one person needs to donate a large sum; if each person we know donates just the average price of one latté, we can easily make 'Waters Fall' the kind of shortfilm that we, and hopefully you, would want to watch.
