The Moment Engine (Short Drama)
The Moment Engine | Film
Overview
About our film:
Trapped in the perfect relationship, Ellie investigates strange memories of events that never were and uncovers secret experiments occurring beneath her feet. “The Moment Engine” is a science fiction thriller. It explores themes of control, time and memory, as Ellie confronts an interference with her own past and sinister forces seeking to exert control over her future.
Why we are making The Moment Engine:
This film is the work of final year AUT Communication students Joseph Hisayasu (writer and director) and Joel Armstrong (producer and assistant director) majoring in Screen Production.
What we need from you:
We really believe in this film, so we’re putting forward $600 of our own money to fund the project. We’re asking generous donors for an additional $600 to help us produce this to the highest quality possible. This money pledged will go towards cast, props, set design, transportation, location costs, feeding our cast and crew and applying for film festivals.
Our Team:
We are thrilled to be working with a talented crew of fellow AUT Screen Production students:
Jamie Keiller - Director of Photography
Tara Bellairs - Assistant Director
Roland Dela Rosa - Lighting Designer
Matthew Rohrs - Sound Technician
Our Executive Producer is Ross Brannigan, AUT Screen Production lecturer.
Any donations are extremely appreciated. We will make sure that our supporters will get a special thanks with your full name in the credits!
We all thank you so much in advance for bringing this project to life!
Ngā mihi, Joseph Hisayasu and Joel Armstrong.
