Overview

Little is known about what happened on Thursday, June 12, 1956 near the small mining town of Jerome, Arizona.

A media blackout instigated by a government in the grips of cold war paranoia was largely successful and it’s taken years of hard work and persistence by a small group of dedicated underground investigators to finally bring the incident to light.

Your contribution will help cover the cost of materials, lithographs, the gallery and the building of a model UFO by the incredibly talented paper engineer, Phil Fickling.

The Jerome Incident opens on Friday 6 May at the Upstairs Gallery, Titirangi and is on display until 29 May 2022.
