Kia ora koutou
I’m George Edgar, aka The Immortal George, and I’d really like your help to finish my debut album “Lessons”.
I’ve been playing and writing music for over twenty years, and this is my first ever solo album. I started writing it four years ago during the first covid lockdown. I was taking YouTube piano lessons, and I would keep getting distracted by interesting piano lines I’d come up with, so I’d open up Logic and start working on a song idea. The project evolved from there as I realised I wanted to tell a story of some of the lessons I’ve learned throughout my life. I also opened up to the beauty of collaboration, recording a bunch of my friends singing and playing instruments on various tracks.
I hope this project will inspire and move you to confront the challenges of life with a curious and courageous heart, and to know that we are stronger when we work together as one.
The songs are all finished, but I’d like your help to pay for the album to be mixed and mastered by the amazing Zandy Karasulas.
For just $2500 I can finish this four year work and share it with you all. If you like what you’ve heard of my music so far and you want to be a part of creating something I think is really meaningful, please consider donating to my boosted campaign. Even the smallest contribution helps.
