Thank you again to every donor who raised the incredible $20,000 which allowed me to pay two industry professional post production artists. For me, this film was a 3 year unpaid passion project. When watching the film through the official website your support helps recognise the time, effort, and resources that went into creating, marketing, and releasing it.

Sat 3rd August, 3:30pm, Cinema 3, Hoyts Entx, Christchurch. Doors open at 3:10pm.

We have a cinema capacity of 95px and over 140px have registered interest, so BE QUICK, these will sell out.

We are absolutely thrilled to announce the official premiere of The Garden Room will be held at Hoyts Entx in Christchurch, Sat 3rd August 2024 at 3:30pm.

In order to gauge how large a cinema we need to book, please head to www.thegardenroom.nz to register your interest for tickets. If needed, we may host a second screening on Sunday 4th August.

Please note, registering interest does not guarantee a ticket, but you will be the first to know when they go on sale.

You did it. Your generosity, the continued sharing and promoting, you did it. To see so many people gather around and support this family, this heart wrenching story, is just overwhelming.

The campaign is still open and we can continue to receive donations until the 18th Dec. Any donations given over the $20,000 will allow the creator and support crew to be paid. This is no longer an "all or nothing campaign", we have achieved our goal, and the film will be released in 2024.

We are down to the LAST WEEK of crowd funding and have $12,640 left to raise! 😮 Thank you to everyone who has donated so far.

Boosted is an all or nothing fundraiser, if we don’t hit $20,000 then NONE of the funds come to us. All donations are returned to donors.

Sadly without the funds, the film won’t be finished for broadcast and we will miss out on the incredible opportunity to release it on NZ and Aus TV, and in a worldwide festival 💔 

BUT, we refuse to accept that fate. So! Let’s rally together with one last push on socials, messages and emails. Donate if you haven’t already. Remind everyone that it really just takes a community giving a little each. That would be incredible!
