The Flame

The Project
The idea for this film, The Flame, has been percolating in my mind for a couple of years. The story is a collision of my longtime fascination with the process of making art and my growing feelings of fear toward the unnatural and permeating influence of technology.
I want to make this film because I want to project the fears I have into the world in a physical way. My hope is that this film will raise questions from the audience into the worth and power of raw, human creativity.
In addition, I hope this film can serve as a warning for how our desire for constant economic improvement and technological advancement can corrode our relationship with the organic beauty around us.
I'm raising funds to support production and post-production costs of the film. In particular, to pay artists involved in the production for their time and efforts.
Thank you for your support.
