The Finding

The support this project has received has been overwhelming, and in these increasingly difficult times it’s also heartening that people still value endeavours like mine.

To everyone who has supported The Finding – thank you. Your donations have made this film possible and I hope to make a film everyone can be proud of.

At this stage we are planning to shoot the film in the first week of July and complete it by October. If that changes because of the Covid-19 situation I will let everyone know.

Stay safe and enjoy storytelling and the arts in all their forms (albeit at a distance) now that we have all have a bit of extra time.

... in the two and a half weeks since I launched this campaign when I could only dream of the support it has received. Equally who would have imagined that the world would have changed so drastically in the same amount of time.

With four days to go there’s just $150 more to raise to meet the campaign's stretch goal. In the current climate, with events overtaking us, it no longer feels right to ask for donations, but if anyone was spreading intending to donate and hasn’t yet, or wants to help push the project past the finish line, there’s the opportunity for a small amount to make a big difference.

I plan to make a film everyone can come together to share and be proud of.
