The Feared and Respected

Malo E lelei, My name is Pilisita Mateni and I am the producer of “The Feared or Respected”, Hello my name is Kerryn Clegg and I am the director. 

Both Kerryn and I are third-year students studying the bachelor of communication studies, Majoring in TV and Screen Production. 

This semester we are entering the final stages of our degree. This means, our Final film project.

Our film project is called “The Feared or Respected”. We will be filming the pilot episode for a web series which follows the life of a young man who lives a double life as a drug dealer and uni student.

This film highlights the issues of peer pressure, drug dealing and the family dynamics between older and younger siblings. “The feared and respected” also highlights the issues of family loyalty and the toll it can take on a person. 

This film is our final project but this won’t be possible with you - our family and friends!

The total cost of this project is $1000. This covers Location, Transport, catering and our lovely cast and crew. NO matter how big or small your contribution is, we appreciate and are super grateful for the support you have shown us. 

We as the producer and Director would love to take this film further than uni so that we have more pacific and brown faces on our screens. This isn’t just an opportunity for the actors but the crew to showcase their production skills behind the screens. 

Those that do donate will be put into our credits as a thank you for supporting us and our goals.
