The Faith To Continue

The Project
Kia Ora! We are Screen Production students at AUT. The Faith To Continue will be our final university project, and we are so excited to bring our vision to life, but we cannot do it without your support.
The Faith to Continue is a short film following two siblings, Kiel and Neve. They're both living together without their parents and must deal with everyday life without their guidance. The film's primary themes include trust, relationships, and opening up to new experiences.
Our Director Maia was inspired by wanting to tell the stories of families in more dysfunctional dynamics and give people insight into what it is like to live such realities, the struggles they face, and the physical and mental sacrifices required to make ends meet.
We felt that this was a story that needed to be brought to the screen, as it would provide representation for those who may live in such desolate conditions and communicate the hope that they will find a way through and thrive regardless of their present circumstances.
