THAT BLOODY WOMAN Cast Recording
Luke Di Somma | Music
Overview
"This is more than history,
This is more than her story.
What happened it changed the world,
What happened it changed the girl."
In 2015, THAT BLOODY WOMAN, a rock musical about Kate Sheppard premiered at the Christchurch Arts Festival. In 2016 it graced the main stages of our two biggest theatre companies; the Auckland Theatre Company and the Court Theatre.
THAT BLOODY WOMAN is written by Luke Di Somma and Gregory Cooper and directed by Kip Chapman. The show has been playing to sell out audiences and standing ovations. Metro said "it's the show New Zealand didn't know it needed." The Press said it's a " righteous rock musical with wit, verve, humour and heart...feels ready to take on the world."
Now, we are recording a cast album, and we are inviting you to be a part of it. By supporting our campaign you can sign up for an advanced copy, and many more benefits besides. Whether you saw the show and want to relive the experience, or want to hear what all the fuss is about, you should get on board and help us record our cast album.
Metro said that "the music throughout the show is catchy and head-bangable. Listen closely to hear just how witty those lyrics are. Di Somma & Cooper have done the impossible: there is not a dud among them....I need these songs in my life.." This is your chance to have them in yours.
So join our case and support our campaign.
Come be part of history. Come be part of her story.
