100% we've hit our target!!
Whoop!!!! Thanks to 53 incredible, generous donors matched by CreativeNZ and Rātā Foundation, we are thrilled to be able to bring our city a cultural play trail! Next week we kick into rangatahi training - teaching young people to be oral historians for their communities. Then we’ll support them to capture stories of play from their elders. All these stories and ways of playing will feed into an amazing interactive play trail that celebrates diversity in our city and makes play accessible to everyone!
Thanks soooo much!!
So exited for this collaboration between Our Stories Project and InCommon
Thanks Boosted Ōtautahi!
Amazeballs!!
We're so grateful for all your support, 80% whaawhooo!! We captured some great play stories at the Boosted Ōtautahi event last night. Looking forward to uncovering more traditional games and play when we do our first interview training with rangitahi next week. The money raised through Boosted will be spent on the play trail, 3 or 4 installations that bring these stories to life in the central city.
Thank you!! We’re feeling so supported by our incredible donors, you!
The Te Kōrero Tākaro Boosted Campaign is at 32% which is so awesome, we couldn’t have done it without your support.
We’re currently inviting rangatahi from Māori, Pakistani, Malay and Fijian to attend our first audio training with Kris Herbert from Our Stories. Looking forward to hearing from the rangatahi about how they play and what they know about traditional games in their culture.
