STOA Choreographic Season 2018
New Zealand School of Dance | Dance
The Project
The annual Choreographic Season is an exciting collection of new dance works created by graduating students of the School's contemporary dance programme.
The Season is an exploration of their individual voices, thoughts and movements brought together in a full-length work. This is one of the School's main productions of the year, and incorporates the full array of professional lighting, sound design, and costumes.
Leaving behind the traditional theatre space, this year the students venture into the depths of the Te Whaea building, exploring this unique subterranean environment. Costumes will be integral in creating the character and the overall visual effect of this immersive experience.
While we have all of the other elements covered for this amazing production, we need an extra boost to ensure the costumes (and the students) are covered!
Our students are fortunate to work with a cast of 30, performing over 11 works, so we need a lot of costumes to dress the dancers. Help complete the production by donating to our project on Boosted.
Thank you for supporting us!
