A retired farmer… a herd of donkeys… an intriguing subject for a new documentary
Sound in Wind and Limb is a documentary that tells the story of Peter Caccia-Birch who, after years of farm work, settled into the small coastal town of Snells Beach. At a loss with what to do with himself in retirement, Peter prepared himself for many quiet and mundane years to come. But one day his life changed when, exploring his new neighbourhood, he stumbled upon a field of donkeys in the Highfield Garden Reserve. It was love at first sight and Peter never looked back, becoming not only a primary caregiver for the donkeys but also the reserve itself.
