Soft Tissue Breathes Again - Wellington

Kia Ora Friends, Whanau and Feminists! Our show Soft Tissue has been offered a spot in the legendary main space at Bats Theatre (shot Peter Jackson, shot Bats crew, shot Wellington!).

All we need is some love (in the form of cold hard cash) to fully realise this kick ass show and make sure our crew can keep creating and thriving (and surviving! Seriously.)

Soft Tissue had a potent, gutsy, utterly uninhibited season at Auckland's Basement Theatre in 2017. Now it's time to bring this wild, hilarious and hearty show to Wellington - my home town YEYAAA.

To survive the mission of putting on a show without any external funding we are looking to the friends, family and community of artists and art lovers around us for support! Please donate a penny or a palm full o $$ and help us pull this bad boy off!

I have shared this show in its early stages at Arohata Womens prison, Manutuke Marae and Toi Whakaari. I performed it in Singapore and travelled further to Iran for a funded development season. All incredible influences on what the show has evolved into today.

It's life has been great - spanning four years since conception! And now we are ready to share the latest edition of Soft Tissue with Wellington in its slickest, silliest season yet!

I am proud as punch of this fierce and lovable show - and cannot wait to get it out there again.
