Overview
Single Use is a drama set in a small New Zealand beach town. It follows 20 year old Noah who deals with the stigma of falling publicly sick with HIV and the transactional nature of many queer relationships.
We want to bring light to queer relationships, specifically through the stigma following HIV and AIDS, and the stereotypes surrounding queer hookup culture.
Our group consists of:
Finn Hyndman - Director and Writer
Caity Watson - Producer
Matilda Macandrew - DOP
Trent Munn - 1st AC
Sam Pay - 1st AD
Cosette Wells - Art Department
Levi Haub - Gaffer
James Malsher - Sound
Minty Fletcher-Dobson - Editor/DIT
We are asking for $6,000 for our project. This would go towards locations, transportation, catering, props, an intimacy coordinator and distribution.
