In June 2025, we will take the stage at the Sydney Opera House for our first-ever international performance, sharing the groundbreaking Mana Moana show in collaboration with the world-renowned Sydney Symphony Orchestra.

This moment is more than just a performance—it is a powerful celebration of Pasifika music, storytelling, and cultural pride on one of the world’s most iconic stages. Our voices will carry the legacy of our ancestors, the resilience of our communities, and the vibrant harmonies that make our Pacific sound unmistakable.

To bring this vision to life, we are calling on our village to stand with us. Our goal is to raise $50,000, ensuring that our choir is fully supported in representing our people and sharing our music with the world. Signature Choir is an award-winning Pasifika choir that blends rich harmonies with cultural storytelling, using music to connect generations, communities, and traditions. Rooted in our faith, Pasifika heritage and driven by a commitment to excellence, we strive to create performances that are both powerful and deeply resonant.

Our dedication to presenting Pasifika music in a fresh and dynamic way has earned us national recognition, including ‘Best Gospel Artist’ at the 20th Pacific Music Awards and the Heritage Award at the Creative New Zealand Pasifika Awards. Audience-recorded videos of our performances have also garnered millions of views across social media, reflecting the profound impact of our music on communities both in Aotearoa & worldwide.

We are led by our wonderful Choir Directors:

• Fepulea’i Helen Tupai
  • With over 30 years of musical leadership, Helen has composed hundreds of songs, led numerous choirs, and taught voice and piano to thousands of students. As our visionary leader, she drives our mission to share Pacific music with communities and audiences worldwide.
• Jadrah Tupai
  • Jadrah brings over 15 years of experience leading prominent choirs, offering creative and musical leadership, while also managing the choir’s strategic direction. His commercial and management expertise ensures that Signature Choir continues to grow and reach new heights.

All funds raised will go toward the following essential costs to bring Mana Moana Sydney to life, including:

• Return flights for our entire 54-person choir – getting our singers to Sydney so their voices can be heard on this world-class stage
• Ground transport – ensuring safe and reliable travel between rehearsals, accommodation, and the Sydney Opera House
• Performance uniforms – a vital part of our presence, allowing our choir to stand together in pride and unity & present a world-class image.
• Professional photography and videography – capturing this milestone moment to share with our communities and develop collateral which can be used for other campaigns/initiatives.
• Meals for our choir – keeping our singers nourished and ready to give their all in every rehearsal and performance

Taking Mana Moana to the Sydney Opera House’s Concert Hall (the biggest stage in the Sydney Opera House complex) is a milestone not only for Signature Choir, but for Pacific artists. This project brings together Pacific choral singers to present a breathtaking showcase of harmonies, storytelling, and heritage at the Sydney Opera House together with the renowned Sydney Symphony Orchestra.

Fully curated and arranged by Helen Tupai, Jadrah Tupai, and Tana Tupai (with orchestrations by our dear friend and maestro Thomas Goss) this project showcases our ability to set Pasifika melodies against the lush soundscapes of a full orchestra—an achievement that has never been done at this scale. This trailblazing work not only elevates our music but also reinforces the capability, vision, and leadership within our team to push the boundaries of Pasifika storytelling in a symphonic setting.
