So why Radikal Forze Jam?
The team of 5 who travelled to Amsterdam, Josh Mitikulena, Avneil Mohan, Myke Davis-Hoeft and John Vaifale, came back with their creative tool box filled with new skills, new connections, new ideas and passion for dance re-ignited. We want this for all our Pacific and Maori street dancers in Projekt Team, especially after two years of COVID, lockdowns and cancelled events. The closest opportunity for this is Radikal Forze Jam. Whom many of the street dancers from around the world we look up to will be attending and entering.
Radikal Forze Jam is Asia-Pacific's biggest street dance festival which includes street dance showcases, competitions, battles and workshops. We want to be able to travel as a collective to battle and represent New Zealand and our respective Maori and Pacific cultures including Tangata Whenua, Samoa, Fiji, Tonga and Niue. We want to show the world what we can contribute to the global street dance community and put New Zealand and our Pacific/Maori cultures on the map!
