Project Beautiful Soul

I’m a young aspiring artist and I was recently accepted at my dream school Berklee College of Music! I’m fundraising towards mandatory equipment for entering Berklee students.

CONTEXT

I’ve been playing music for the past 4 years and I’ve fallen in love. I play piano, violin, drums, and now vocals! All of my 2020 was devoted to pursuing Berklee. I spent countless hours practicing during holidays and at school, often waking up at 5:30 AM in the morning. Last December my admissions decision came in and I was accepted. I will be attending Berklee in early 2022.

THE PROJECT

The Berklee tech requirements page states: “all students are required to own a MacBook Pro laptop and an audio interface”. I have neither of those, hence this crowdfunding campaign. It’d also be helpful to have a mini keyboard to create music on DAWs. By generously suporting this crowdfunding camapgin, you will be helping me buy these key items:

A MacBook Pro - $2,300

A Focus rite Scarlett Studio Pack - $600

An Akai MPK mini keyboard - $230

THE WHY

I want to give you all the very best of me as a future NZ artist. I believe studying at Berklee will greatly aid me in creating beautiful music from the depths of my soul. I aim to show the world that although we may not have wings, kiwis were born to fly.
