The Potential for Rain, our next big show, will launch at The Factory on 26 April, and we need your help to make it happen!

About Navi Collaborative.

Navi has been telling stories through theatre and film since 2015 and in that time, we have created opportunities for numerous Auckland based artists and makers, being able to give renumeration to the talented humans that we have been lucky enough to work with.

However, we have only been able to continue telling stories because of resources like Boosted and with the support of our generous friends, who have helped us bring new works to life.

Now, with support from Boosted and The Auckland Arts Comeback, we are asking you to help once again in 2022.

About The Potential for Rain.

The Potential for Rain is a show that we have been trying to bring to an Auckland stage for over two years now. Like its main character Sam, this play has been on a journey. The Potential for Rain has more than 20 passionate people, who helping bring it to life!

Way back in 2019 Josh (Joshua Baty) said that he had a new script up his sleeve and we were thrilled to workshop it with him. Fast forward to 2020 and we were three weeks out from premiering the play at Pitt Street theatre, when the first big lockdown forced us to postpone. Then in 2021 we had just begun rehearsing for a season that we had locked in at TAPAC when DELTA struck...

Now, here we are in 2022 with yet another premier season planned and this time at a brand new Auckland venue, The Factory!

By contributing to our campaign you will help cover the costs of:

• set, props, and costumes
• rehearsal and performance space
• marketing, which in turn is supporting another local business – Social Flora.
• our amazing monster puppet made by Hamilton based artist Ifat Vayner –creator and owner at IPuppet.
• licensing our pre-show music
• renumeration to our cast and crew

All donations matter.

All of the above really adds up. However, if each our friends were to contribute just the average price of a large latte, our show would be financially stable!
