In celebrating my rich Samoan and Maori heritage, I am embarking on a profoundly meaningful project aimed at honoring my upbringing in Aotearoa through the creation of new, original songs. This endeavor is not just an artistic pursuit but a heartfelt tribute to the culture and traditions that have shaped me. To bring this vision to life, I am seeking support for writing workshops that will serve as a collaborative space for innovation and cultural exchange.

The funding will enable me to work closely with a Samoan cultural advisor and language expert, ensuring authenticity and depth in the exploration of Samoan music.
