Oversway
Ereina Tonihi | Dance
Overview
WHAT IS OVERSWAY?
Oversway is a 12-15 minute documentary which follows a dance partnership as they prepare for a big competition by getting dance lessons, picking the right outfits and then performing on the dance floor. As well as this, Oversway aims to address themes such as the breaking of the status quo, the strong bond between a dance and its dancers, and finding self identity through dance.
In order to make this film happen, we need your support!
We have set the goal of raising $1,000 to make this film happen, with a stretch goal set for $1,500.
These funds will go towards things such as:
- Petrol for multiple shoot days
- Accomodation for the big competition
- Food for cast and crew.
We are all third year students at Massey University Wellington looking to make an awesome project for our final years here, and then venture forth into the film industry in New Zealand.
Crew:
- Dom Fransen
- Ereina Tonihi,
-
Hana Fukuhara Aboustait
-
Paige Cooper
-
Charlotte Mckinnon.
By supporting us, you will also be supporting the ballroom dancing scene in New Zealand, by shedding more light on a truly unique world. Any donation, big or small, will make a massive difference.
