Project Updates
Getting some buzz... and just 4% to go!
We’re on the final countdown – our Boosted has four days to go, and we’re just 4% away from being funded! Thank you so much to everyone who has donated to our campaign, shared our Boosted link, engaged with our social media posts and sent us encouraging messages. We’ve been blown away by all your support.
We’ve also had really great support from the media, so this update includes some bonus ‘Otherhood content that you might want to check out.

Thanks so much for all your support – fingers crossed we make that last 4% of our target and that we can celebrate with you at a book launch next year!
Made it to 10K!
Two of the three 'Otherhood editors are currently in the Northern Hemisphere, so it was an amazing surprise to wake up this morning to see that our Boosted is now up to $10,490. That's 69% of our target after just a few days! Thank you so much for donating to and sharing our campaign, it means a lot.
Thanks also to Emily Writes, who wrote a Substack post about why the three of us chose to work for free for a year on this project. When you put it like that, it does sound a little strange - but the truth is, we all really believe in this project. You can find Emily's post here: Not just a book but a community - Emily Writes Weekly (substack.com)
Thanks so much for all your support - we can't wait to share the finished book with you all. In the meantime, here's a picture of a dog who looks pretty much the way we're feeling right now.

We smashed 50% on day one!
Oh my goodness. We are so gobsmacked by the roaring tidal wave of support 'OTHERHOOD has had, shooting us past 50% funded on day 1! It means a lot to us because it tells us that you see how important and necessary it is to tell these stories too, and strengthens our resolve.
Thank you to everyone who has donated and left messages, and those who have shared 'OTHERHOOD on their socials too. We see you all and can't wait to bring you these stories.
xx Lil, Alie and Kathryn
