Overview

Millennial MP, Chlöe Swarbrick, challenges the establishment during the most important year of her political career.

We need your help to tell her story.

In a momentous year for New Zealand politics, Aotearoa’s youngest MP bids for the Auckland Central seat in her vow to radically change the political status quo from within. But behind the ‘OK Boomer’ politician is a person. Chlöe must weigh up the pressures placed on her versus her innate desire to make a difference. Learn what it’s truly like being a revolutionary member of parliament in a political system disconnected from those it represents.

Join us by donating to this compelling short documentary.

Gain exclusive access to Chlöe Swarbrick in the lead up to the Auckland Central election, lifting the lid on New Zealand politics and why she is so determined to create change.

Across the world, we are seeing a revolution in politics as younger generations become actively involved and interested in the future of their countries. As we struggle with global issues such as growing inequality, the climate crisis and increasing pressure on mental health, there’s never been a more important time to document those within our society who are actively trying to create change.

The funds we receive will go directly towards all of our hard costs. We would like to ensure we can pay our crew a small fee, cover post-production costs, hire equipment and feed the people that help us out! The core filmmaking team will not be taking any money from the project, as we’d rather all of the money went directly on the production itself.

Director Charlotte Evans, and Producers Letisha Tate-Dunning and Sarah Anne Dudley, are super excited that OK Chlöe has been selected by the incredible New Zealand short documentary initiative Loading Docs, with 2020s theme being Revolution.

If we reach our minimum crowdfunding target of $2,500 then Loading Docs will provide an additional $6,000 to cover post-production costs. But it’s an all or nothing campaign. If we don’t raise the $2,500 we don’t get anything!

If you are able to donate anything, even $5 (the price of a coffee), we would so appreciate it as every little bit counts! And please share far and wide with your friends and family so we can try and reach as many people as possible.

Thank you so much, we can't wait to bring you on this journey with us!
