Native Eye

Overview
Kia ora! We are a team of student filmmakers from Te Herenga Waka seeking funding for our short documentary 'Native Eye'.
OUR FILM
‘Native Eye’ is a portrait of Wāhine Māori artist Suzanne Tamaki, a commanding voice in New Zealand fashion. This 10-minute documentary looks into Suzanne's personal and societal influences, and what goes into making a timeless piece of art that isn’t framed but worn by those who exemplify it.
OUR TEAM
We are a five-person team of third-year filmmakers from Te Herenga Waka, Victoria University of Wellington. As our final university project, 'Native Eye' represents the knowledge and technical skills we've developed throughout our degrees.
The incredibly talented team
