Murphy's Law

The Project
What is "Murphy's Law"?
Follow Mike and Lenny, two average 17-year-old boys, as they navigate the wildest day of their (usually uneventful) lives. What starts as a simple quest to buy weed turns into a frantic battle for survival when they become trapped with a paranoid, unhinged dealer. As the tension escalates, Mike and Lenny must rely on their wits and each other to escape.
With sirens closing in and a pocket knife-wielding dealer on their heels, their adventure is anything but ordinary. Will they make it out alive? Can they outsmart the dealer? And what will they discover about themselves along the way (probably nothing new!).
"Murphy's Law" blends comedy with suspense, delivering a fun and ever-so-slightly anxiety inducing experience. This short film is a tribute to coming of age films such as "Superbad," as well as the thrill of unexpected adventure.
