Thank you so so much for your support to reach the $12k target.
Whether you donated, bought a raffle ticket, provided some in-kind support or shared my updates, it has all been much appreciated.
Ngā mihi nui to the Boosted Moana team, The Arts Foundation and CNZ for your $6K Match Fund. This will be a great boost to my project and with relief and gratitude I can get on with more planning.
A special thank you to Nigel Russel from NJR Hair for your continuous support, sponsorship and for looking after my curls :) I recommend checking out his website for lovely NZ-Made natural hair products: https://www.njrhair.co.nz/
A shout out to Windon, Mema, Jono and Ravi for your help with the fundraising concert.
I'm gearing up go to Samoa from next week for CHOGM 24. I will be performing at the Youth Forum Networking event along with participating in some other activities and I can’t wait to make some more connections for Songwriters 4 Climate Action. I can't wait to work with Anahera Parata and Liz Laupepa to create this next music video and I look forward to sharing additional content for the cause. 💚 Less go! xox

Sunday 22 Sept Fundraising Concert Tonight & Raffle
Hey folks,
Many many thanks to all those who made it along to my Fundraising Concert on Sunday 22nd, or bought a raffle ticket.
The Concert @ Gribblehirst Community Hub (Sandringham, AKL) featured live music from Ema I’u Duo, the amazing Mema Wilda & Permission to speak to raise funds towards this Campaign. 💛 We raised around $700 and it was wonderful. I can't thank you enough for coming along and of course to Windon, Mema, Jono, Nigel and Ravi who contributed their talents and aroha.

Ema's Campaign reaches 25% and Fundraising Concert coming up 22 September
Mālō Fam,
I've made it to 25% of the Boosted Target and have just over 2weeks to go.
Thank you so much to all those who have donated and/or spread the word. I've got a bit more mahi to get over the line by the 2nd October.
I’m so excited to announce the line-up for my Move Mountains Fundraising Concert
on Sunday 22 September, 7-9pm @ Gribblehirst Community Hub.
Entry is: Pay What You Can 🌺 We are accepting cash or a direct digital donation to my boosted campaign. There will be links on the night. If you have already donated to this campaign you are of course invited to come along and let me thank you in person.
.
Live Music from 7.30pm. Line up includes -
- The wonderful sultry Sāmoan Siren Mema Wilda doing a solo acoustic set. I would describe her performances as soulful and bewitchingly magnetic.
- Multi-instrumentalist Jono Annandale aka Permission to Speak doing a solo set with his variety of treasures that is like a sonic journey through an epically emotive adventure film.
- EMA I’U duo set - I’ll be accompanied by my talented right-hand man Windon Bradfield. We’ll be playing some of my latest originals and some of our favourite covers.
I’ll also be sharing a sneak peek of the recorded tracks for 'Move Mountains' and my new single ‘Blame Game’ out on the 23rd September.
.
There will be some light refreshments, tea and coffee. You can BYO your own drinks and dinner too. This is a family friendly, comfy community space I love working in.
You can find more event details and RSVP HERE
.
Thank you so much for supporting my Boosted Project and especially to Mema, Jono and Windon for lending your talents for the evening.
Hope to see you there.
Ia Manuia,
Ema I'u xox
