Hello all, thank you so so so much for the wondering and amazing support. It has completely blown me away and I feel so chuffed to be surrounded by people who value the importance of this project.
We have started distributing the magazine and the reception we’ve had from schools has been fantastic!
We are 97% of the way there woohoo!! Aiming to reach 100% by the weekend so that we can activate the stretch goal which will enable us to pay the wonderful contributors and support them in their creativity. These contributors all worked extremely hard to make this magazine available for free.
Thank you again!!!!!
Reached our goal!!
We've reached our goal!!!!! Thank you all!!!!!!
I've activated the stretch goal now in the hopes that we raise enough money to pay the contributors for all the time they spent to create their amazing work.
:-)
Thank you all for the support!
This fundraiser has been an amazing success and we managed to raise so much more than I ever thought possible! The magazine has been distributed to all year 13 art students at schools all across Wellington with wonderful feedback.
We raised enough to cover all costs and pay a small fee to each of the contributors.
Creating this magazine has been a fantastic experience and has added so much value to my gap year. In 2022 I'm heading off to art school and already thinking about how I could bring a second edition of Mind The Gap to life!
Thank you for making this possible - without all of you, it wouldn't have happened!!
