Overview
Ema I'u is releasing her debut music single Midnight Mistress this month.
This song is an uplifting R&B anthem, all about encouraging wahine (or anyone) to not settle for less than the care and respect we all deserve from any romantic connection. Ema wants listeners to feel that they have the power and support to leave toxic or abusive relationships and / or not be played, used, disrespected or kept in the dark any longer. Mmm hhmmmm.
This is where you come in!
To make Midnight Mistress happen, Ema needs to raise at least $6K to create a kick-ass music video, celebrating wahine toa and drawing from her community and background in screen and theatre.
Funds will be going towards paying a professional film crew, talent, locations, lighting, costume, make-up and editing to make the best possible work we can.
We would love to create a viral campaign as well; spreading positivity and awareness around what being the 'Midnight Mistress' means to wahine living in Aotearoa.
Thank you so much for your support.
