Line-Out Final Cut
Kia Ora Everyone,
I know that the past two years have been an extremely challenging time for all of us.
After completing editing in late-2019, the intention was to get Line-Out to film festivals in 2020. Initially there was strong interest from festivals in Spain and the US only for the Covid Pandemic to shutter those plans completely. The tight entry requirements that most festivals have around when a project is complete, and the anxiety around large group gatherings here in NZ have made me rethink what is the best to distribute the film.
Eventually I concluded that the best thing to do was to try and distribute the film as organically as possible, and make it as easy as possible for anyone to access and share among your friends, whanau community groups etc. While watching the film at a cinema with a giant screen booming sound system is still my preference (hopefully there still might be a chance sometime in the future), YouTube is the best option right now.
Please feel free to share the film as far and wide as you would like! If you have any interest in screening the film for a group (without those adverts getting in the way!) do not hesitate to contact me and we can find an alternative method to make it work!
Once again, a huge thanks for all your support and patience with this project – it truly wouldn’t been possible without you.
Nga mihi nui
