Like Like Me

The Project
Like Like Me is a feel-good love story between Tia, a serial hobbyist, and her delivery man, Bradley. The film follows Tia, a serial hobbyist, as she falls in love with Bradley, and in the process, learns to love herself.
We are a group of AUT students who are making this film as an end-of-semester project. This is our final year at university, and therefore we want to make something amazing that we can share with you! This film is something we want to bring to film festivals in the future, as well as use to both build up our technical skills as well as show what we've learned through our time at AUT.
The concept of Like Like Me is something we are very passionate about, as it is a film about embracing what you love instead of being embarrassed about it. Society teaches us to naturally try to hide the things that we're passionate about from others because we are afraid of being ridiculed. This film aims to show people that these things make us unique, and therefore should be celebrated.
All the funds donated will go to making this film the best it can possibly be. It will go towards:
- food for the cast and crew
- petrol money to get to and from shooting locations
- koha for the cast and the owners of locations we use in our film
- extra props and set pieces
- entry fees into certain film festivals
We appreciate any and all of the support and donations! Thank you for helping us achieve this dream.
