Lick my Past

Nancy Wijohn and Kelly Nash, co-directors and performers of dance theatre work "lick my past" are seeking support to help get their show on the road to the Wellington Kia mau festival at Bats theatre and Auckland's Matariki Festival at the The Basement 2017.

OUR SHOW

Lick my past enjoys the vast array of relationships two women can have. We are playful and exuberant, however, we try not to take ourselves too seriously especially since our long dance careers are a matter of choice. Our lives are strange, wonderful and always full of sass as we share humorous parts of ourselves through just being us. It's set to stunning imagery and we get to dance to some powerful sounds. Life with us is extraordinary!

WHO WE ARE

The two of us both come from Auckland! Most people will know us from the contemporary dance community in Aotearoa. We are teachers, choreographers, dancers, healers, mums and dog owners. Our show ressembles aspects of these roles we play in our everyday that we hope to share with audiences during our Wellington and Auckland seasons.

WHAT THE FUNDS GO TOWARDS

All funds raised will go towards technician fees, marketing costs, prop and costume freight and rehearsal venue costs. Every cent counts toward our final goal! We hope that you can help us out!

Lastly a big thank you from us, the arts can be a struggle but we really do not want to give up and are making a huge effort to gather your support!
