Funding target raised! Now we 'stretch'...
Just 2 days ago I was terrorizing friends, acquaintances and social media with my 'final countdown' update video below. And now, Korimako Bells has REACHED the funding target!
There's still 2 days left for potential donors to 'stretch' our goal to an amount that simply reflects a slightly higher (well, officially 'average') commissioning rate for a chamber work.
So to anyone who gets on board with that, and to all those who already have...
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU - Mark & Nikau Trio.
THANK YOU #1
Dear Donors,
A proper video update is forthcoming to acknowledge your generous support of this project, for which I am so very grateful. But of immediate import is my sincerest thanks to you all.
To write music at a professional level for a new ensemble of high performance calibre, with no creative limitations (unlike film scores), is simply electrifying for me. I'm very passionate about this piece, and none of this is taken lightly, or for granted.
More soon!
Mark.
