Kiwi Hunter
Georgia Ah Kuoi | Film
Overview
When the apocalypse finally came, it wasn't at all how people thought it was going to be...
Kiwi birds are sick and tired of being endangered and have decided to take over New Zealand. It’s time for all humans to pack up and leave. The thing they don’t tell you about the apocalypse is that it’s actually the perfect way out of any prior responsibilities you had. Or at least, that’s what Hunter thought. Turns out his flatmates aren’t going to let him get out of his chores so easily. Lives are on the line as flesh-hungry kiwi’s close in on their over-priced Wellington flat, but at the end of the day, Hunter still needs to take out the trash. Only this time he might die while doing it.
Ultimately, Kiwi Hunter is a gory splatter comedy about accountability, reliability, and friendship. Our crew would love your support in helping us create this apocalypse oh... we mean film.
This film is being made by Master of Fine Arts (Creative Practice) students from Te Herenga Waka, Victoria University of Wellington. This is the cumulative project of their year-long degree.
