Isaiah McIver: Sound and Audio

We make up Roimata Productions, based in Hamilton Kirikiriroa.

The Funding

I am trying to raise funds for porduction and post production costs. Such as:

  • Wardrobe
  • Make up
  • Kai on set
  • Bits n pieces for our technicians
  • Koha for venue and talent
  • Petrol
  • Memory sd cards.

The Details

I am pasionate about film making, and want to bring more Māori and Pacific Island content to the big screen. I am also about contemporary issues that is happening in our communites. Drugs is a big problem, hence why I want to make ʻKinoʻ and highlight the issues about addictions and solutions to this Kino(bad) problem.

The Impact

The films impact will be immense as it will cut strait to the chase, to show the ugliness of addiction and dealing followed by the films characters. The story is also about hope, and that people can change after life altering experiences. This benefits the community by showing drugs is never okay.
