Jessy & The Volunteers - Debut album recording and release

The Project
As a self employed travel agent, I have lost my income to support my band. As a musician, we haven't been paid for our last shows pre lockdown and we lost gigs including festivals and an Australian tour. My band, Jessy & The Volunteers, play music for love but unfortunately it's not cheap to make quality music. We had our debut album release planned for this year and we are now looking to those who have perhaps not been as financially impacted throughout the Covid saga, to assist us smash our goals. We want to release music and continue to push through in the emerging NZ music scene.
I started this band 3 years ago; we ooze funky soul and meld it with Rnb and a bit of rock & roll. Our favourite place is the live festival stage and we have made a couple of videos, our debut "Phone Face" had us named on the official NZ music chart's, "Ones to watch". https://www.facebook.com/jessyandthevolunteers/videos/450413385810339/
Our producer Nathan Judd founded Auckland band Hipstamatics and now produces Maori Rock band Kiko and Jazz sensation Lou'Ana.
Over the course of a month, we're going to bring to you, two live streams from our rehearsal basement as well as some other exciting surprises.
We are releasing another music video during this crowd funding campaign and hoping to raise enough money to put towards the rest of our unfinished EPs including; recording, mixing, mastering and maybe a video... It all depends how much you want to hear our new music?!
We wish only for people to dance so hard they break their knees. Please help us make this possible!
Love Jessy
