Jason Parker Debut EP Fundraiser

Hello friends! Welcome to my Boosted campaign, gorgeous to see you here.

My name is Jason Parker, I'm a singer/songwriter/Popstar wannabe living in Te Whanganui-A-Tara Wellington NZ. I have been in a committed relationship with pop music ever since I realised the remote doubles as a microphone. This year, I’ve made the leap to share my music with the world and my goal is to release 4 more singles over the next few months! It is all very exciting!!

ABOUT THIS PROJECT

The project is a 5 track EP titled ‘How To Be Lonely’. Each track is written by me and produced by Perth born, Whangarei-based Alvyn Tan. The EP explores my experiences with loneliness, sometimes self-inflicted, other times overcome, but ultimately, learning to be comfortable in it.

The $5,500 raised with your help will fund recording, producing, mixing and mastering of the tracks, as well as the production of a music video. These records will be released across all music streaming services - with the ultimate dream of touring them around the country.

I have fully backed myself financially to this point and with your generous support, I will be able to create my music the way it deserves to be seen and listened to. 

So far, I’ve released my first single ‘You Rescued Me’, appeared as a top 20 contestant on Popstars, performed my first set of original songs opening for Paige and hosted and performed at Peachy Keen music festival as one half Kick Ons Podcast. I have even been featured in Woman's Day! And this is all on the smell of an oily rag, just imagine what could be done with an extra cash injection. With your donation, the future is limitless.

WHO’S INVOLVED?

MUSIC - Producing/mixing/human angel - Alvyn Tan is here to create the most gorgeous, toe tapping, sing along soundscape to my Pop-star fantasy.

VIDEO - Directing/Production Company - Daisy Thor-Poet of Tinted Productions. Daisy recently worked with Luca George on his debut music video and has been so enthusiastic in making my debut music video dreams a reality too. Honestly it’s gonna be a camp time, promise.
