If there's not dancing at the revolution, I'm not coming...

Overview
The thing we are making....
This is an experimental feminist performance at its best. An anarchic collision of theatre, dance, comedy and live art. This is a piece to wake us up a little. A tiny little call to arms.
If there's not dancing...is a collage. It is a party. It is a poem. It smashes together material from contemporary culture including film (Titanic, Psycho, Pretty Woman, 500 Days of Summer) and other contemporary sources (advertising, pop songs, pornography) to look at how we look: How we look at bodies, women and the presentation of women's bodies as passive spectacle.
What we need from you...
Art costs money and being artists we don't have any. We are all professional theatre-makers trying to beg borrow and steal to make this work happen. We just require a bit of help for the things we cannot convince people to give us for free. Any donations will go towards rehearsal space, printing and a small fee for the technical team. We would love your help. We will love you for it.
This is us.....
