THE PITCH!

• Barry is to anxious to be the main character of any story. He overthinks and constantly shares his thoughts to the audience by breaking-the-fourth-wall. On the night of his birthday, Barry was invited out by his closest friends to hang out. Despite hoping they'd finally remember his birthday and threw him a surprise party, he is instead greeted with cloaks, candles, and a bloodied body in the living room. THERE WAS NO PARTY. THERE WAS ONLY THE INITIATION! Will Barry succumb to this violent peer pressure? 'I'M NOT CUT OUT FOR THIS!' is a horror/coming-of-age short about an anxious teenager who needs to find his self-worth in order to SURVIVE.

WHY THIS STORY?

• Barry Cleaver, the protagonist of the story, has social anxiety and a history of panic attacks. You'd look at him from a mile away and you'd doubt that he can survive a horror movie. Well, this story argues that your anxiety and mental health does not make you any less of a hero in any story.

WHY WE NEED YOU!

• Horror stories are all about the visuals and atmosphere, and that's where you can help. As university students, there's only so much we can do with what we have. So, your money is going to a few things:

1. Costume
2. Fake Blood
3. Make-up
4. Fake Blood
5. Realistic-looking props
6. Lots of fake blood.

• We want this film to be as visually thrilling as it can be for you and for anyone who watches. So, if you believe in the story, and if you believe in Barry, then any amount big or small will be a HUGE help to us.
• Additionally, your help would also add to our means of transportation and providing food and water for our cast and crew.
