How to Romance a Human
Dog with Ball | Theatre
The Project
This New Zealand Fringe Festival, Dog with Ball is bringing their debut, devised production How to Romance a Human to BATS theatre. A show about Love, Robots, Loving Robots and Robots Loving.
This in a group of emerging artists. Unlike established Theatre groups we don't have any previous to fundour debuet production. We are looking for funding to purchase materials for our set, costume, props, rehearsal spaces as well as provide meals to share for our open rehearsals.
The show's process will proceed in acknowledgment to the context of the Wellington performing Arts Community, with the goal of creating a dialogue between Emerging Artists in a comfortable space. To do this we are running Open Workshops on Sunday 31st of Jan, 7th of Feb and 14th of Feb. These serve as a space for the Emerging Artist Community to come together and discuss theatre.
Dog with Ball is a Collective of Emerging Artists in the Theatre Sector, who have worked with Young and Hungry, Long Cloud Youth Theatre and the 2015 STAB project, Dead Men's Wars. In between studying at Victoria University, Adeline Esther (21st Century Narcissist) , Liam Kelly (Dead Men's Wars, Suddenly The Musical) Keegan Bragg (Call Me Bukowski, The Adding Machine) and Ruby Hansen (Second Afterlife) will be developing this humourous and poignant speculation of a future where computers are superior compatible paramore.
