Thank you so much for taking the time to check out our campaign.

This project started at a Script Writing course I took at Massey University while working towards my Masters in Creative Writing. I sent an early draft to our director Jeremy Masters. He immediately connected with the story and encouraged me to continue working on it beyond the scope of the course. After some back and forth and a major edit after receiving feedback from my professor, the talented play writer Stuart Hoar, we came away with a story that we feel needs to be brought to the screen.

All of the money that we are raising will go towards paying the creative team that is working hard to bring this story from the page to the screen.

We hope to film this fifteen-minute script in early January and then enter it into all applicable 2025 short film festivals.

It's in the can!

I can see now why people say making a movie is like catching lightning in a bottle. There are so many things that have to go right. And there are so many things that could go wrong. We had a lot of shooting to get done in a tight three days. Luckily we had the most amazing cast and crew. Everybody worked together beautifully. There were great vibes all weekend despite some tough conditions and a ton of work to get done.

We had no time to rehearse, but luckily the cast had instant chemistry and knocked it out of the park. Stellar performances from Ben Van Lier, Helene Nicholson, Maxwell Andrews and Glen Farnham. Everybody on the crew went above and beyond. Huge thank you to Graham Lauder, Tansy Clarke, Shaun Logan, Odette Andrews, Mark Andrews and Sara Fritzell.

We are forever grateful for all the generous donations we received. We're in post-production now and then we'll be hitting the festival circuit. Stay tuned for more
