// ABOUT HOBSON'S CHOICE

Hobson's Choice is a 10 minute fictional short film about Nikki Hobson, a top casting director, who must decide between a promising young actor or her niece, for a career catapulting role.

She must choose between ruining family ties or allowing favouritism to erase equal opportunity.

It feels like no matter what, the right decision is always wrong.

// OUR KAUPAPA

We want to explore the theme of nepotism and start a conversation about why it continues to exist, especially in creative fields. 

Unfortunately, we don't benefit from nepotism so we need your help.

We're working with minimal resources right now but imagine what we can do with more!

// THE ASK

Our target is $2500 with a stretch goal of $3000 to accomplish a 10 minute short film.

This will cover:

• Art Department
• Hair, Makeup & Costume
• Catering
• Transport
• Distribution (for film festivals)

Boosted is an all or nothing platform so every contribution counts and all support is appreciated. If we don't meet our target, we get zilch.
