Function

When Adrian, a scientist who always chooses work over his family, enters a rift to a parallel world he discovers that his family in this universe is dead. Now he must find a way back home or else live in a world where his loved ones are gone.

Function is being made by Bottle Cap Productions.

We're a passionate team of third year students from Massey University's Creative Media Production course. We're a team of experienced individuals who have made films similar to this one before, so we believe that this will be another great display of film making.

You're needed to help us make Function happen.

The money we are raising will be going towards:

• Paying our actors
• Having costumes, props and sets built
• Transport
• Catering for our cast and crew

We're making this film, to give people a new appreciation for their loved ones.

Our 12 minute short film has many underlying themes about the consequences of choosing work over your family, which is something many people today tend to do. We believe viewers of our film will learn to appreciate their families over their work a little more after watching our story. 

By funding our film, you are helping create a story that a lot of people need to hear today. People who are overworked, people who don't spend enough time with their families, people who choose work over their loved ones. We hope to give them a new appreciation over their lives and the people around them.

We believe this project is worth backing, because we are a group of experienced film makers who have worked on similar projects in the past. And as students who have been working non-stop on films for the past three years, we feel that we know what it's like to keep choosing our work over our families. This is why we believe we can get this film done and that we can get it done well.
