Fatal Fame

THE PROJECT

Fatal Fame is a 50-minute solo thriller-comedy coming to BATS Theatre. With a team of funny, creative, and passionate individuals, we are excited to bring this thrilling theatrical experience to Wellington audiences later this year.

Fatal Fame follows the story of Annie, a very talented young woman. After having spent her childhood years tiptoeing around the edge of a normal social life, she decides to utilize her talent to find her way into the friendships she never had. Watch as she retells her story of this journey into popularity.

P.S. Her talent is murder.

With unpredictable twists and turns, audiences can expect Fatal Fame to be funny, shocking, and exciting.

THE TEAM

Dripping Bottle Theatre are an emerging theatre company that is committed to creating fun, funny, and socially relevant art. Fatal Fame is their debut performance.

Directed by Lincoln Swinerd (a current Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington student). Lincoln has completed a major in Theatre, and is applying his learning from directing for the first time. His recent projects include Performer in The Princess & The Knight and Performer/ Stage Manager for King Shit. Lincoln directed an in-house excerpt of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead at THW/VUW in 2022.

Produced by Angela Pelham (a Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington graduate, 2022). Angela is a theatre all-rounder whose recent projects include Performer in The Princess & The Knight, Producer/ Production Manager for Hell School: The Musical, Assistant Stage Manager for Timelines, and Intimacy Director for Knights of the Table, Top Girls, and Abandonment.

Performed by Zoe Snowdon (a Witireia Bachelor of Applied Arts graduate, 2019). Zoe has had a lifelong passion for theatre, and after a short hiatus is ready to bring you the most killer show of the year. Her past projects include acting and devising in Timelines, A Quiet Contemplation on The Life Of Sirus Canns, and Second Unit - What Will You Do In The Shadows.

WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Fatal Fame will be running from the 31st of October to the 4th of November at BATS Theatre.

We are seeking $750 to cover the base costs of our production. This includes rehearsal venue hirage, publicity costs, APRA fees, and set, prop, and costume materials.
