Even A Worm Will Turn
Survival Guide Studios | Film
Overview
A young girl who scams dementia patients into believing she is their granddaughter for money, comes across one patient who is harder to convince than the others.
As she tries to get him to sign a cheque granting her one step closer to her dream of fame, an incident occurs that makes Elsie realise that Reg is harbouring a secret of his own. He actually doesn’t have dementia. They form an unlikely friendship where they dive into daydreams of each other's fantasised lives. However, when the threat of being discovered arises, Reg and Elsie are forced into making a decision whether to redeem themselves and change their ways, or to continue succumbing to their self-deprecating lifestyles.

WHO?
Ash Kelliher, Writer/Director of "Even A Worm Will Turn."
This story explores themes and emotions relevant to people of all ages, particularly those in their 20s navigating life's various pathways and the fear of failure and the unknown. With a deep interest in social dynamics and the blurred lines of morality, I am excited to have the creative freedom to strengthen my skills as a Writer/Director with this incredible cast / crew as we explore these concepts through a fleeting connection between two vastly different con artists.
Ben Panckhurst, Cinematographer for "Even A Worm Will Turn"
I have always loved and been fascinated by visual storytelling and how impactful it can be. This story, packed with fast paced emotionally driven action, dialogue and visual queues will make for an awesome project and along with the awesome crew. The great script and being open to explore and experiment with my cinematography has me very excited to continue working on this project.
Isabella Zangirolami-Ramsay, Producer of “Even A Worm Will Turn”
I’ve always had a passion for creativity and experimenting with various art forms. Interested in the human condition and morality and its representation in art, this story is one I believe needs to be shared. It has a lot of themes that I and many young people can relate to, it’s a project I am very excited about and would love to make!
This is our incredible cast & crew you have the opportunity to support!!
